How Scoring Works
Toon Tone uses CIE76 Delta-E β the same perceptual color-difference formula used in professional print and display calibration. A score of 10 is a perfect match; anything above 8 is considered expert-level.
The game compares your final HSB pick against the canonical target color for that character part. Hue mistakes usually cost the most, while saturation and brightness decide whether a close guess becomes a great one.
9.5 β 10.0Perfect match
8.0 β 9.4Expert eye
6.0 β 7.9Good attempt
4.0 β 5.9Off the mark
0.0 β 3.9Way off
